Paul Drago

Paul has over thirty years experience as a Project Engineer. His managerial experience includes land and offshore drilling operations and serving as a consultant to international companies for high-rise hotels in the United States and abroad. Being a consultant fanned Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit, allowing him to diversify his interests. He has been a CELEC provider to internet portals, marketed patent-pending advertising tools, consulted on projects that required custom built software-using, and has worked on UN humanitarian banking projects.

Paul has attempted to retire on and off throughout his dynamic career. However, savvy business acquaintances and friends who know his worth, have repeatedly tantalized him with a potpourri of business endeavors throughout the world. Now married and settled in Las Vegas, Paul and his family are enjoying a quieter life of family activities, golf, Jewish community projects and friends.

Brian Katz

Brian has been a member of Temple Sinai for three years and currently serves as the Board Liaison to the Membership Committee.  Before moving to Las Vegas from Hermosa Beach, California, he was an active participant at his synagogue on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  Brian has a degree in Political Science from UCLA (go Bruins!) and studied business at USC.  Upon graduating college, he grew a small, single unit, import/export business, into a midsize corporation that operates in nine states. He has spent an extensive amount of time traveling throughout the U.S., Europe and the Far East.

Brian is committed to helping Temple Sinai fulfill its mission of becoming a welcoming, comfortable and participatory environment focused on education and social action.  He is also on a personal mission to make the Religious School fun and meaningful for the children.  Brian and his wife, Elissa, have been married for 17 years and have two teenage daughters who are active in the temple community.

Dr. Judith (Judy) Salz

Judy Salz, M.D. is a founding member of Temple Sinai. She has served on the Board of Trustees for the past two years. During that time, she has served on the Programming Committee, helped to furnish the sanctuary lobby and temple office, chaired the By-laws Committee and served on the Cantorial Search Committee.

Judy practiced internal medicine in Los Angeles for 30 years before retiring to Las Vegas. Born and raised in New York City where she learned a love for culture, Judy sings with the Las Vegas Master Singers, oil paints, loves seeing live theater, concerts and art exhibits. Her daughter and son-in-law lives very nearby and they all spend a good deal of time together.

Judy really enjoys participating in the planning and guidance towards the future growth of Temple Sinai. She hopes to be able to continue to serve on the Board for another full term.
