Sisterhood
Overview
Sisterhood membership is open to all women. We have members who are young and ‘young at heart’. We share a desire to give back to our community. Support Temple Sinai sisterhood and make some great friends in the process. Whether you’re a mother, sister, aunt, daughter, single or married, widowed, with or without children, an empty nester, born Jewish, a Jew by choice, a non-Jew married to someone Jewish, we encourage you to become a member. We would be a better organization to have you counted among our members. By joining sisterhood, you are adding our voice and your hands to over 70,000 women.
We welcome you to contact the Temple Office for more information (702) 254-5110.
President of Sisterhood: Ann Kaplan

Ann was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in the ‘Borscht Belt’ in the Catskill Mountains in New York State. She met and married her husband, ‘Kap,’ in Florida, and worked with him as owner and operator of a major rubber stamp and engraving company. Ann and Kap moved to Las Vegas in 1984 and worked together in their own business, a 24 hour wholesale printing plant, until retiring.
Ann has devoted much of her adult life to volunteering. She served on the board of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Miami. She devoted 3,000 hours to Parkway General Hospital in North Miami Beach as head of the volunteer services for the coronary, medical and surgical intensive care units. Ann has been on the board of the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra Guild, Desert Arts of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild. Over the last several years, she has been involved in volunteering at Adat Ari El and Temple Sinai. Ann has had two children, is a grandmother of five, and has four great grandchildren.
