This week at services I will be talking about the need to avoid what happened to Pharaoh in the Torah portion. God hardens Pharaoh’s heart. When our heart is hardened it means we do not feel compassion for our fellow humans. It means we do not even bother trying to see things from their point of view. When our heart is hardened we turn away from those we love. It is never too late to soften our heart, to open our soul to others and to forgive and be reconciled.
