I was born and raised in Pasadena, California, and I am a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University in West Los Angeles. While working on my studies, I have had several years of experience working in informal and supplementary Jewish education. Due to my Southern California upbringing, I am a diehard Dodger and Lakers fan. My favorite TV show is Game of Thrones and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and you can usually find me listening to Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Chance the Rapper, and Drake.
As my title would suggest, I am extremely passionate about the Jewish community and the young people that represent our future. Studies have shown that young Jews who participate in Jewish summer camps and youth groups are considerably more likely to prioritize synagogue membership and lay leadership once they reach financial independence and that is exactly why I’m here, to bring many of these opportunities to the youth of Temple Sinai.
The passion that has sparked my career in Jewish programming originates from my own experiences in summer camps and as a leader in my own youth group growing up in Pasadena. I look forward to re-chartering a NFTY chapter here at Temple Sinai, allowing a space for our teens to make Temple Sinai their second home by taking ownership of their own program
I'm just here to help them along the way. I am beyond excited for this new adventure everyone here has been extremely inviting and welcoming throughout this process for me, and I am very thankful for it!
